CHRISTIANUS - Corpus

The sculpture Christianus is the modern version of the traditional Crucifix.

Consequently this piece is a wonderful combination of the 400 year old woodcarving tradition of the Val Gardena integrated with the modern influences of today and of the future. The artist has deliberately left out any extravagant detail, therefore focusing only on the essential figure.

The arrangement of the Corpus with strong geometric forms gives the sculpture a centre point, which the observer will always be able to see from every angle.

This original “Christianus” - masterpiece, a fine work of art, has been designed by the famous studio of Monte Maestro in Ortisei/Val Gardena-Italy, and is made out of solid wood by an expert craftsman.

The finish of the carving will be executed BY HAND from qualified artists.

Only 23 CARAT GOLD is used for the finish.
